Day 3 Game Recaps of the Mustang World Series
Game 8: San Diego, CA-7 v San Antonio, TX-2
San Antonio, TX lost to San Diego, CA 7-2.
San Diego, CA got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ethan Wilpon S singled, and Bradley Lawrence W walked, each scoring one run. A double by Shawn Allan M extended the San Diego, CA lead to 4-1 in the top of the third inning.
Joshua C led things off on the bump for San Antonio, TX. Alexander Krisztian R led things off on the mound for San Diego, CA.
Number seven hitter, Devin Kane S, showed the depth of San Antonio, TX's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Sebastian R and Devin Kane were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for San Antonio, TX.
San Antonio, TX had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Ackamus Jace S and Sebastian led the team with two bases on balls each. Sebastian stole two bases. Tucker Christopher Scott doubled in the fourth inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning. Marion, IL got on the board in the top of the first inning after Michael Raymond S singled, scoring one run, Reed Jaxson C drew a walk, scoring one run, Tinsley Mose L singled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run. Marion, IL added one run in the second after.
Marion, IL added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Tucker Christopher Scott singled, and Michael Raymond walked, each scoring one run.
Matthew Gordon S stepped on the hill first for Marion, IL. Jaxson Louis G stepped on the hill first for Youngsville, LA. William Gabriel H threw one inning of scoreless ball for Marion, IL in relief. They surrendered zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
Edward Brooks C and Reed Jaxson each collected multiple hits for Marion, IL. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.
Tucker Christopher Scott, William Gabriel, Reed Jaxson, Harrison Lee M, Reece Michael P, Michael Raymond, and Tinsley Mose each stole multiple bases for Marion, IL.

San Antonio, TX lost to West Raleigh, NC 6-1.
West Raleigh, NC opened the scoring in the first after Nicco John P grounded out, scoring one run. Vincent Ace L grounded out, which helped San Antonio, TX tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
West Raleigh, NC took the lead, 6-1, in the top of the tenth thanks to singles by Grayson Wayne R, Nicco John, Myles Allan W, and Charles Grant K.

Game 11: Shanghai, China-1 v Maracay, Venezuela-13
Maracay, Venezuela beat Shanghai, China 13-1.
Maracay, Venezuela got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Rodriguez Salgado N grounded out, and Rojas Cuicas D singled, each scoring one run. Maracay, Venezuela extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI doubles by Padron Lugo D and Rodriguez Salgado. Maracay, Venezuela scored eight runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning.
Li M started on the mound for Shanghai, China. Rampini Guanchez D opened the game for Maracay, Venezuela.
Padron Lugo and Rampini Guanchez were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Maracay, Venezuela while hitting back-to-back. Padron Lugo and Rodriguez Salgado were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Maracay, Venezuela.

Game 12: San Diego, CA-4 v Maracay, Venezuela-0
San Diego, CA defeated Maracay, Venezuela 4-0.
San Diego, CA got on the board in the top of the third inning after Ethan Wilpon S doubled, scoring two runs, and Shawn Allan M hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Hayes Thomas P started on the hill for San Diego, CA. Rojas Cuicas D began the game for Maracay, Venezuela.

#7 led things off on the mound for Tijuana, Mexico. Matthew Ryan R began the game for West Raleigh, NC. Raúl B appeared in relief for Tijuana, Mexico.
Tijuana, Mexico accumulated 10 hits in the game. Gareth, David, and Rafael each drove in two runs for Tijuana, Mexico. Raúl collected two hits for Tijuana, Mexico in four at bats. #7 led Tijuana, Mexico with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game.
