Day 3 of the Bronco World Series

Game 14: Cleveland, Ohio (13), vs. Chicago, Illinois (1)

Cleveland, Ohio scored eight runs in the seventh inning, which helped them defeat Chicago, Illinois 13-1 on Sunday.  Jude H singled, scoring two runs, Grayson S drew a walk, scoring one run, Grant V was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Jayce S scored after tagging up, Hayden D singled, scoring two runs, and Tyson M singled, scoring one run.

Cleveland, Ohio got on the board in the top of the first inning after Victor R singled, and Chicago, Illinois dropped a third strike, each scoring one run. Logan W stepped on the mound first for Cleveland, Ohio. They gave up zero hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking three. Joaquin P stepped on the bump first for Chicago, Illinois. They allowed eight hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking one. Grant pitched one and two-thirds innings of no-run ball for Cleveland, Ohio in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out four and walking three.

Monterrey, Mexico took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 12-11 walk-off victory over Laredo, Texas. The game was tied at 11 in the bottom of the eighth when Bruno Antonio G hit a solo inside the park home run. Monterrey, Mexico collected eight hits and Laredo, Texas had 11 in the high-scoring affair. Laredo, Texas opened the scoring in the first after Andres L homered to right field, scoring two runs. In the bottom of the first inning, Monterrey, Mexico went back into the lead after Bernardo D doubled, Laredo, Texas committed an error, Axel Daniel Delgado G tripled, and Esteban Patricio H grounded out, each scoring one run. Laredo, Texas jumped into the lead in the top of the second when an error scored one run, and Ivan S doubled, scoring two runs. Laredo, Texas added one run in the third after Jaden V singled. Monterrey, Mexico captured the lead, 7-6, in the bottom of the fourth after Marcelo A walked, and Erick Gustavo R walked, each scoring one run. Laredo, Texas flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on five hits to take a 11-7 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Osvaldo C that drove in one. Erick Gustavo hit into a fielder's choice, which helped Monterrey, Mexico tie the game at 11 in the bottom of the seventh.

Rene G pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Monterrey, Mexico. They gave up four hits and zero runs while, striking out three and walking one. Andres G led things off on the mound for Monterrey, Mexico. They gave up four hits and six runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking five. Osvaldo stepped on the bump first for Laredo, Texas. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and five runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking five.

Raul Alejandro G, Esteban Patricio, and Erick Gustavo each drove in two runs for Monterrey, Mexico. Axel Daniel Delgado led Monterrey, Mexico with two hits in three at bats. Game 16: Cleveland, Ohio (0), vs. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic (6)

Boca Chica, Dominican Republic won big over Cleveland, Ohio 6-0 on Sunday. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic first got on the board when Milan V singled, scoring one run. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic added one run in the second after Milfree F grounded out.

Victor C started on the hill for Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over three and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking three. Tyson M opened the game for Cleveland, Ohio. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and four runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Milfree, Angel G, and Carlos M each came on in relief for Boca Chica, Dominican Republic and shutdown Cleveland, Ohio.

Jair F, Milfree, Milan, Josue C, and Angel each drove in one run for Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Angel went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Boca Chica, Dominican Republic in hits. Felix Jesus C and Angel each stole multiple bases for Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic ran wild on the base paths, accumulating eight stolen bases for the game. Boca Chica, Dominican Republic were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Josue had the most chances in the field with 16. Grayson S led Cleveland, Ohio with two hits in four at bats. Grant V stole three bases. Cleveland, Ohio stole six bases in the game.
