Day 2 of the 2024 Palomino World Series
Game 4: Hermosillo, Mexico-7 v Aroma Park, IL-0
Aroma Park, IL lost to Hermosillo, Mexico 7-0.
Hermosillo, Mexico opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two walks. Hermosillo, Mexico first got on the board when Zazueta Estrada David Joaquin drew a walk, scoring one run. Hermosillo, Mexico extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI doubles by Rendon Sierra Pool and Estrada David Joaquin.
Tyler Drew Snoreck started on the hill for Aroma Park, IL. Galvez Hernandez Sebastian Alberto began the game for Hermosillo, Mexico.
Byron Kavion L Wills, Jarius Harris, Spencer Louis Boudreau, Emmett Alan Hays, and TJ Adam Prude each collected one hit for Aroma Park, IL. Aroma Park, IL turned one double play in the game.
Estrada David Joaquin drove the middle of the lineup, leading Hermosillo, Mexico with two runs batted in. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Hermosillo, Mexico were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.

Youngstown, OH lost to Laredo, TX 11-7.
Aidan Michael Leiendecker, Mason Mich Petridis, Nicholas Gregory Parrotto, and McGuire each collected two hits for Youngstown, OH. Laredo, TX got on the board in the top of the first inning after Juan Zepeada singled, scoring two runs, and Corbin Matthew Sevcik induced Jeramey Gabrillo to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Youngstown, OH flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on three hits to take a 5-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to left field by McGuire that drove in four.
Laredo, TX flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on five hits to take a 9-5 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two.
Zyler Freedman pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Youngstown, OH. Sevcik started the game for Youngstown, OH. Arturo Garcia opened the game for Laredo, TX.
Ciro Benavdes and Jose Gamez each collected two hits for Laredo, TX. Jerry Medina, Benavdes, Gamez, Ramon Dealba, Enrigu Loyola, Zepeada, and Valiyne Barrios each drove in one run for Laredo, TX. Antonio Sanchez led Laredo, TX with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.
Laredo, TX will play again today July 27th at 6:00pm against Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei.

Game 7: Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei-6 v Laredo, TX-4
Laredo, TX lost 6-4 to Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei.
Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei were the first to get on the board in the first when Chia-Chun Cheng singled, scoring two runs. Laredo, TX took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by Juan Zepeada, and Manuel Chaires. Laredo, TX added one run in the second after Jeramey Gabrillo singled.
Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei captured the lead, 5-4, in the top of the third when Gu-Mai Sia He singled, scoring two runs, and Ming-Hsun Tsai scored after tagging up.
Jerry Medina opened the game for Laredo, TX.
Gabrillo, Chaires, and Zepeada each drove in one run for Laredo, TX. Jose Gamez collected two hits for Laredo, TX in four at bats. Laredo, TX turned one double play in the game.
Sia He went 1-for-4 at the plate as the first baseman led the team with two runs batted in. Cheng led Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei with two hits in four at bats. Jhe-Lun Cyuan paced Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Chung-Hao Wang stole two bases.
Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei will play again tomorrow July 28th at 8:30pm.
Laredo, TX will play again tomorrow July 28th at 11:30am.
Game 8: Aroma Park, IL-6 v Brownsville, TX-11
Game 9: Hermosillo, Mexico-7 v Harlingen, TX-1
Hermosillo, Mexico defeated Harlingen, TX 7-1 on Saturday.
Romo Camargo Joel Arturo grounded out, scoring one run, Monge Olea Luis Enrique singled, scoring one run, and Amparano Gonzalez Alejandro grounded out, scoring one run.
Harlingen, TX got on the board in the first inning after an error scored one run.
Morales Ruiz Jesus Renato started the game for Hermosillo, Mexico. C Lopez began the game for Harlingen, TX.
Hermosillo, Mexico piled up 11 hits in the game. Olea Luis Enrique and Ivan Noriega each collected three hits for Hermosillo, Mexico. Liera Cordova David Manuel led Hermosillo, Mexico with two runs batted in. Hermosillo, Mexico turned one double play in the game.
M Snavely, I Gaytan, and B Rios each collected one hit for Harlingen, TX. Harlingen, TX turned one double play in the game.
